Sweep-picking king Yngvie Malmsteen will release his 23rd solo album, Hell or High Water, November 13th, 2026, through the label Music Theories Recordings, a subsidiary of the Mascot Label Group, which also counts Steve Vai, Eric Gales, Joe Bonamassa, Toto, and Kenny Wayne Shepherd (among many others) on its Artist List.
In keeping with four decades of tradition, Yngvie sounds like Yngvie on the first track, “Now Or Never,” and in keeping with the past 15 years worth of tradition, he sings lead vocals as well.
