Lita Ford hopes to release a new album — the follow-up to her 2016 release Time Capsule — by September, if all goes to plan.
Ford recently told Scott Davidson of Chicago’s Rebel Radio the album was done and she was just trying to sort out the paperwork with her record label. “We’re trying to get this record out, going back and forth with paperwork through the record companies, and so we’re hoping for a September record, in which case, the touring is gonna pick up and everything is gonna be off the charts. So I’m excited. Fingers crossed.”
Gary Hoey, Lita’s long-time collaborator, produced the album and added guitars. Ford is currently playing select shows with her band: Patrick Kennison (guitar), Bobby Rock (drums) and Marten Andersson (bass).
